Jack had fun doing a science project this year, he and Kasey killed two birds with one stone and did a science fair/pinewood derby project. His question was, will a pinewood derby car with carved dimples go faster than a smooth surface. His car did pretty good, 5th place for the second year in a row. And a car with dimples will go faster than without... not by much, but enough to measure. His project was picked to be displayed at the district science fair at the high school. He did a great job presenting his project to the judges and answering questions. Maybe next year all the pinewood derby cars in the area will have golf ball dimples.

Awesome, Jack--both on the science fair & coming in 5th at the derby too! (Our pinewood derby cars were miserable failures...more on that later.) Anthony will be at the district science fair too! Maybe we'll see you there! : )
