Opal creek part 2

On Memorial Day we went on a fun hike that we had heard about from a friend. It's about a 6-7 mile hike round trip, on the way up is a place called Jawbone Flats, it's an old mining town built in 1929. There are lot's of old cars and mining equipment up there too- the kids had fun seeing lot's of old "stuff". On the way down you cross a bridge over opal creek and hike through a trail winding around the creek. There is one spot that would be perfect to cliff jump from into a deep pool of water... in my younger days I would have considered it :) The kids did great, they are all good little hikers- Lucy had a free ride of course.
