This year for Christmas Eve we thought it would be fun for the kids to "act out" the Nativity while we read from Luke 2. It was pretty low key, not a lot of preparing or planning- the kids main job was to stand there and look cute, and they did a great job. Lucy was baby Jesus, Savannah and Jonah were Mary and Joseph, Jack was a shepherd. Lily and Maddie were angels, and Alex, Jacob and Taylor were the wise men. It was very cute and nice for the kids to have one more reminder of what Christmas is all about. Betsy sang Away In A Manger after we read from Luke, with Kasey at the piano.
